Long ago I resolved,
I resolved, to leave my ‘comfort zone’
and I left it;
Yet it is still with me
as I move forward, it follows me
as I turn, it chases me
despite my run
it’s just behind me
its circumference growing ever larger
its radius increasing ever faster
As its boundary continues to grow
so as my vision, so as my passion
so as my inspiration, so as my ambition
‘Comfort zone’, you are big and getting bigger
but you’ll never be big enough
to encompass me
